Sande
Guitar, Ukulele, Songwriting
Sande (Thousand Miler)
I began my musical journey watching my mother play her Gibson ES125. The fact that I wasn’t allowed to touch it fueled my desire to learn to play. At age 12 I started lesson and soon after began studying at the Wisconsin Conservatory Of Music: Classical, Flamenco and Fingerstyle. Later I performed with the Milwaukee Mandolin Orchestra, which I was a part of for many years.
At the age of 30 I added another skill when attended Redwing State College’s Lutherie program and learned to build and repair string instruments. While there I performed with the Minneapolis Mandolin Orchestra and hosted open mics.
I love teaching all ages and concentrate on each students goals.
My students have performed at Farmers Markets, open mics, street festivals and assisted living homes.
I welcome the opportunity to help you with your musical journey Sharon Goessner
